Dengue vaccine Bali: Qdenga (for travelers without prior infection history) or Dengvaxia (for those with prior confirmed infection) administered at hotels and villas by licensed doctors. 2-dose series — dose 1 on booking day, dose 2 approximately 3 months later. From IDR 1,400,000/dose. Available across Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, Kuta, Nusa Dua, and Uluwatu. Open daily 9AM–9PM.
Dengue is one of the most common infectious diseases in Bali. Aedes mosquitoes are active year-round — vaccine plus repellent is the most complete protection for long-stay visitors and expats.

Dengue vaccination follows WHO immunization guidelines. Medically reviewed June 2026.
Dengue is transmitted by the Aedes aegypti mosquito, which is active during daytime hours. Peak activity is in the morning and late afternoon. Aedes mosquitoes breed in small standing water — flower pots, water containers, gutters — making villa gardens a common breeding ground.
Bali is endemic for all four dengue serotypes. Rainy season (November–April) sees higher transmission, but dengue occurs year-round.
A second infection with a different serotype carries significantly higher risk of dengue hemorrhagic fever due to antibody-dependent enhancement (ADE).
Vaccination is particularly recommended for long-stay expats, returnees who may have had a prior mild dengue, and anyone planning extended outdoor activity in Bali.
Two dengue vaccines are available in Bali. Doctor confirms eligibility before vaccination.
