When to test

Which sample should I choose?

Urine (first-catch)

Convenient for urethral infections (men) and some screening.

Vaginal swab

Preferred for women for better sensitivity.

Rectal / throat swabs

Necessary if the exposure involved receptive anal or oral sex.

Our clinician will advise the correct sample during triage.

Treatment & follow-up

If a test is positive, we provide same-day clinical advice, confidential treatment (antibiotics as per guidelines) and partner-notification counseling.

Follow-up test-of-cure is arranged when clinically indicated.
